Exclusive local, regional, and international media will be promoting and covering the inaugural Thailand International Boat Show (TIBS) 2023, set to take place at the award-winning Royal Phuket Marina between January 12th – 15th, 2023.

This blanket media coverage will ensure that everyone in the leisure marine world is aware of the Show and for those residing or flying into Phuket in early January it will be a “must attend” event on their social calendar.

With over 6,000 visitors and more than 100 exhibitors expected to attend, the four-day event will target those with an interest in the boating and luxury lifestyle, and organizers will welcome wealthy jet-setters from overseas to currently the first boat show in three years!

Yachts of all sizes, both power, and sail, will be on display in the water ranging from dinghies and day-trippers up to superyachts.

This boating spectacular is organized by JAND Events, a trading division of JAND Group, and supported by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, Thailand (MOTST), Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), and the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) demonstrating support for the government’s yacht tourism initiative.

Media coverage will include advertisements, regular airtime on TV and radio as well as a sizable budget allocated to display several billboards in key locations.

A similar show in 2020 saw 200 articles published by international, regional & local media for a total PR value of THB134.6 million with an outreach of eight million people, putting Phuket on the world stage. There will also be a PR & media launch event in both Bangkok and Phuket.

There will be coverage in Thai local and national media, Asian regional and international media including social, online, TV, radio and magazines. The PR campaign will ensure wide coverage both during and after the show and will feature: media engagement and editorials in business publications and yachting magazines; features on the Show; an online campaign of advertising, editorial, blogging, and social media; and coverage on international and local news channels.

The Show’s marketing team is already working closely with leading international industry web portals to reach subscribers and visitors through web advertising and targeted email campaigns.

A media-wide print advertising campaign has already begun focusing on key professionals from the industry, news, lifestyle, and business publications enhanced with editorial content.

TIBS 2023 will also have an exclusive preview magazine focusing on the latest exhibitor news, targeted interviews, and yachts on display at the Show. Approximately one month before the show, the magazine will be distributed to a major database of yachting, boating, and high net worth readers throughout the Asia Pacific region and mailed to a selected group of VIPs.

These publications and more will be covering the show preceding, during, and after the event making sure your product, brand or boat gets the maximum media coverage it deserves.
